I recognize the potential for our judicial system to make mistakes. With this in mind, I would be willing to support removing the death penalty as a potential punishment as long as we separate the population of prisoners with life sentences from those who have a chance of reentering society.

Our two-party system has driven us to a state of complete stagnation as a country. In order to resolve this and begin healing the damage caused by partisan politics, we must first make procedural changes. My first priority is enacting term limits for US House and US Senate. I support 3 terms in the House and 2 in the Senate. Second, we must pass a Constitutional amendment which prohibits any federal bill, statue, or regulation from excluding or including any specific location or population. This will eliminate pork-barrel politics and simplify our system. Everything applies to everyone equally.
